Dentist

Joey Oh D.M.D.

Dr. Joey Yoonseok Oh is a caring and dedicated dental professional with a diverse background in education and clinical experience. After attending high school on the Big Island of Hawaii, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University and later received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Following his education, Dr. Oh served in the Korean Air Force as a Military Police and went on to obtain his Korean dental license. During his time in South Korea, he practiced dentistry alongside his father, who is also a dentist, before moving to Maine to continue his career.

Dr. Oh provides a full range of dental care — from routine cleanings and cavity fillings to crowns, root canals, dental implants, and cosmetic treatments. He strives to create a comfortable experience for every patient while delivering gentle and personalized care for healthy, confident smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Oh enjoys fishing, golfing, and cooking. He and his wife love exploring Maine’s beautiful nature with their baby boy, creating lasting memories together. Fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese, Dr. Oh values building meaningful connections with patients from all backgrounds and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care.

Dental Hygienist

Stacey

Stacey graduated cum laude from Bristol Community College of Massachusetts in 2013 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. After briefly setting aside her scalers to proudly serve her country in the United States Navy, she returned to the dental field with a renewed passion for patient care.

Stacey joined our practice in 2023 and has since become an integral part of the Joy Dentistry team. She has a natural gift for helping patients with dental anxiety feel comfortable and at ease, and she’s passionate about educating them on the connection between oral health and overall wellness. Outside the office, she enjoys studying American history, spending sunny days at the beach, and supporting nature conservation efforts.

Jennifer

Jennifer grew up in Lewiston, Maine, and earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England in 2010. She has been a dedicated Dental Hygienist at Joy Dentistry for over 15 years.

Shannon

Shannon has been a Dental Hygienist for over 25 years after earning her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maine at Augusta. She grew up in Auburn and has spent most of her career serving patients in the Lewiston–Auburn area.

Monica

Monica joined our team in 2023 and quickly became a key leader within our clinical team. As a dental assistant, she places great emphasis on patient comfort and strives to make every visit a positive, stress-free experience.

Office Manager

Brittany

As Joy Dentistry’s Office Manager, Brittany is dedicated to making every patient feel right at home from the moment they arrive. She joined the Joy Dentistry family in 2022 and has been caring for patients in the dental field since 2019.

With a Business degree from NECB, she combines her professional expertise with a personal touch, making sure every visit is smooth, comfortable, and welcoming. Brittany believes that great dental care starts with great relationships and treats every patient like family. When she’s not at the office, you can usually find her spending time with her husband and their two sons or enjoying laughs with family and friends. She’s got a big personality, loves animals, and thoroughly enjoys going to Bingo.

Patient Care Coordinator

Katie

Katie joined our team in 2023 and has been brightening smiles in the dental field since 2021. As our Patient Care Coordinator, she’s the friendly voice who helps make every visit feel comfortable and stress-free.

Outside the office, Katie loves spending quality time with her fiancé and their adorable new puppy. When she’s not out on a walk or planning the next adventure, you can often find her at the bowling alley — she’s an avid bowler and even joins a league from time to time. On those perfect sunny days, she enjoys a good round of disc golf and a little friendly competition. Katie’s warm personality and genuine care for others make her a wonderful part of our dental family.
